Public Knowledge Project (PKP)

Public Knowledge Project (PKP)

The PKP-OMP Supporter Program will enable the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) to develop enhanced functionalities for Open Monograph Press (OMP), an open source end-to-end solution for publishing scholar books. It will support improved usability, increased accessibility, better integrations and indexation possibilities for OMP books, as well as expanded free community education resources for emerging open book publishers. PKP is a research and software development facility that builds free and open-source software (FOSS), and is dedicated to increasing scholarly publishing access, quality, inclusion, and diversity. PKP is also known for the development and maintenance of OJS (Open Journal Systems) and OPS (Open Preprint Systems), as well as its research to improve the quality and reach of open scholarly publishing.
